Project Description
Source has been working for ʔEsdilagh First Nation in the development of their Water Management Framework for waterbodies across their Traditional Territory. This framework will support the ʔEsdilagh Sturgeon River Law, and provide a guide to water management decisions based on community classifications of waterbodies and their corresponding water quality standards. These are informed by values, past, current and future uses, cumulative impacts and current/future risks to the waterbody.
Source’s Role
Source is providing technical support for the development of this Framework, including baseline monitoring programs, desktop analysis of existing water quality data, and proposed water quality standards to correspond with waterbody classifications.
