Overview
Source’s scientific team brings extensive expertise in the collection, analysis, and modeling of surface water systems to predict the transport and fate of contaminants from tailings facilities, open and underground pits, ore stockpiles, and waste rock dumps into receiving watercourses. We develop water quality models using GoldSim and PHREEQC to support all phases of the mine life cycle and associated infrastructure, ensuring robust environmental assessments and effective management strategies.
